girth sensitivity

Hi, over the last couple of months my horse has been funny about her girth being done up. she doesn't try and bite or kick she just fidgets side to side, forwards and backwards and stands with her front leg sticking out. once i am on and i tighten the girth she is fine, she just stands still. i have tried a humane girth an elasticated girth and a girth sleeve and she still does it! i have also had her back checked and i still have the same problem.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried a plain, padded leather girth?

I only use Atherstone type girths now and don't have any issues any more.
