Hey guys,
I discovered a few girth sores/galls on my mare. They are not open and I've lathered it in Bepanthen three times a day after cleaning it with a saline solution. Seems like I've caught them immediately. I'm obviously not putting any tack on and wont ride her until they're fully healed. It's a lot of lunging and free schooling for her for a while now. I'm planning on clipping her aswell once she's comfortable having the clipper near that area. I reckon the more air can get to it, the quicker the healing process again. She is quite hairy already for the end of September. I was just wondering if there are any treatments you've used previously, that worked wonders?
TIA
