Girths buckles for thick girth straps

Hi all. I have just bought a lovely monoflap jumping saddle but the girth straps are much thicker than normal, I suppose because they don't lie under anything. They won't go through my girth buckles ( the little gap at the roller). Does anyone have any suggestions of makes that have a larger gap for such a problem please. It also needs to be a short girth 22 inch? Thank you

How odd. My monoflap (and non-mono dressage) saddles do not have this problem. Nor have I come across a girth which has such a narrow slot for the girth that I could ever see it being a problem. No help I'm afraid! Does the saddle manufacturer also make a girth? What does the saddler say?

I have this with my Prestige saddles, it's really annoying. They only work well with Prestige girths ?

I would go back to the fitter, and to the manufacturer, to ask, and perhaps complain about having your girth options limited!
