Pretty much as title!

Pete can be a little cinchy & brace against the girth & I'm not sure his cheap girth is helping.

I don't want stupid amonts of money, but I'm looking for a girth that might feel a bit more comfy for him - he's a roly, poly chap so it needs to be non-elasticated otherwise I'll be under his belly before I've even got on!

Any recommendations would be fab :)

Ive got a stubben string girth on my welsh and i love it. Its soft, wide and grippy with no elastic, altho i do keep looking at the fairfax girths!!

Another vote for Stubben string. My Master Saddler saddler recommended them. I used one (and a Professionals Choice Ventech) until I got my Fairfax as a pressie. Stubben string one washes nicely too(in a bag/pillowcase in washing machine) &dries quickly.
