any one recommend a girth for a Tb who has very "hallow elbow"
saddle fitters words not mine

she did recommend me a girth but it was £200! i just dont have that!

max i have is £80!

he is a sensitive soul and has had ulcers in past (scoped clear now!) so we do the girth slowly :)

its for a GP saddle (we do have a dressage saddle coming in summer but i need a GP girth asap as he is currently being ridden in my old cobs girth which is a 48" and he is more a 42"

dont care of colour!

We love the Ideal F2 Affinity Girth, shaped and beautiful leather, think they are just above your budget...
Scrap that I think I was thinking of the short girth price! :o

Not well up on other long girths... Dressage girths I'm good with :o

Are we talking anatomical/wavy girths then op as I've not come across that term before?

Assuming we are Harry Dabbs waffle/pro lite as non leather options.
Paul jones supply others but will do direct too and think they were sub 100 at least, saddle company £99, flyde £85 so long as you want brown.

And eBay ;)

hallow elbows she says is a very forward girth grove, hallow elbows was a very new term to me i have to admit so i am currently in the dark as to if a wavy one would maybe be better? as before to owning my tb i had a very large round cob who i didn't have this issue with just a place girth was fine !

Ha I have that issue with my cob whose fitter exclaimed quite how wrinkly his elbows are- I think that's age! - so he would get rubs down the back of his elbows.

Fwiw the prolite would have most clearance but didn't work for us because of his body shape it would gape higher up.

We and others have also had succcess with pro choice grippy girths as they stay back from the elbows- dever and someone else do a cheaper version if you wanted to try too.
