Could you provide a bit more information ie age, type of horse, how fit / stiff the horse is. I'm assuming here, the horse is the veteran.
As a general rule, if you are showing in a Veteran Horse Society qualifier, it would be the same as any other class, ie walk away from judge, trot back, trot a half figure of eight, canter on one rein, change through either a figure of eight or a loop and canter on other rein. Transition through trot to walk. Then halt and salute. (No rein backs unless you and your horse are accomplished at it (nothing worse than judging a horse that's being hauled backwards by it's teeth).
In VHS shows, you aren't allowed to gallop - irrespective of the horse's age. At these qualifiers a lot of judges have their own set ideas on what they want to see in an individual show. Otherwise, what I said in the previous paragraph is a rough idea of what is expected.
As a judge has already formed a basic opinion in the initial go-round, an individual show should be kept fairly short to show trot and canter on both reins, as judges tend to switch off if you proceed to perform a dressage test.
Hope this helps, but if you want to provide any specific info, I'm sure other people will also be able to help
