My aged New Forest pony has to start having a joint supplement but every time I give him a feed (other than haylage and grass) he becomes very hyper, even on a couple of handfuls, so what would you suggest? The latest feed I've tried is Super Cool Senior Mix and he also couldn't tolerate Alfa A chaff a few weeks ago. As soon as I stop the feed he goes back to being his normal docile self.
