Hi all, just been reading all your posts and things and thought I would give an update on my two. 
GK has been good. He came 10th at the Peel ODE in Open D grade (65cm) and 3rd in the Kelmscott Showman 1D 80cm over 18 class and was a lead horse for a friend doing her first cross country training day. All these were back to back over 3 weeks. He has has 2 weeks of light work and is getting worked harder now in the lead up to Dardanup ODE which is a 2 hour drive south of Perth and is where the Pony Club State Eventing Championships are held (aparently the course is awesome!!). As it is Breast Cancer awareness month, he will not be running in his normal XC colours (blue, white and green) he will be doing his part and running in pink (bell boots, saddle blanket, pink ribbon glitter quarter markers on his bum, me in a pink shirt and helmet cover) and then he has 2 weeks off before his last event of the season, Serpentine ODE #3 Open D Grade before a much deserved month off in the paddock to be a horse.
Bo has come along in leaps and bounds. He went to his first Unofficial Dressage Day and did Prep 3 (he got 64% and 10th out of 20) and Prelim 1A (55% and 15th out of 20). He was so well behaved, a little spooky and cantered in the prep test but settled down well. And in the Prelim test he needed to be more forward (and I needed more outside rein to get him on the correct canter lead) but I couldn't be happier with him. Next up for Bo (depending on how I go after Dardanup) will be Baldivis Unofficial Twilight Hack Show. I am aiming for him to be more forward and to get experience out at shows before the season finishes. He will also compete at Serpentine ODE with GK in Open E Grade. I am hoping for a completion from him as it will be his first ODE, 2nd time show jumping and 1st time cross country.
