Hi all,

Just wanted to get your thoughts and opinions on riding at Gleneagles.

We come up here every year (in fact, we're here at the moment) and I always make sure I get some riding in...

I've had a couple of lessons but have enjoyed the trail rides a lot more.

Anyone else ridden up here?

Waaaay to expensive for me im afrad. my friends sometimes compete there and its a lovley venue althought the outdoor surface can get deep and the indoor quite shadowy. Ingliston is lovley you should visit there although im not sure where you are?

amazing place when I lived up in glasogow we were part of a braveheart display team, and we did a display there.
Stunning place , super stables

Not sure about their rides though

My OH was an equestrian member for a few years and learned to ride there in his 50's. His first instructor was v good and v motivating but she left.

I had a course of lessons. Our biggest gripe was we had to book a long time in advance and changes of instructor. The trail riding is very good and has been improved and increased in recent years. We only knew Ingliston as a stud not since it changed hands.

from what I remember it's horribly expensive but the facilities are (were) fabulous
