hey.
Any one used Global Herbs Products ? I am thinking of getting my mare that 'Skratch' for sweet itch. Any experiences? Would you recommend it ?

Haven't used that one, but do use their products designed for COPD and really rate them, and this was after going the conventional route with the vet with no joy. They are very helpful on the phone too.
It took nearly a month to see the full improvement though

My friend uses Skratch and rates it, think she uses it in combination with something she also gets from the vet. Was always a bit dubious about this company after I read one of their leaflets and it told you to hold a tub of one of their supplements over your horses body and it would tell you which one it requiredbut my friend rates them.

Ive only used one of their products and it was one of their "itchy" powders, I think Skratch. It smelt VERY VERY strongly of curry powder so Im unsure if some horses would eat it. TBH I was shocked when I opened the tub to find a TINY bag at the bottom of powder. They totally over-package which irritated me. The stuff didnt last long and my horse who normally eats anything was getting a bit fed up of it. So I guess he wasnt on it long enough to know if it worked. Either way, I dont think Id buy GH stuff again TBH.

My first experences were similar to Magic Magpies, but I persevered and all of the horses I've used the products on have eaten them if introduced very slowly. The smell is always a shocker though with a new product!

It's hard to know if they work or other factors are also helping..... I've just had good results though with their Imuneplus (or something like that!).

started using GH Box Rest a week ago for my gelding who's been cross tied and now on complete box rest for 7 weeks.

Obviously quite soon to judge and like someone else says you're never too sure what other factors are "helping" or improving your horse's particular problem but he seems a bit more chilled. Only thing I WOULD whinge about is that I bought a £20 tub on Tues and after feeding the recommended "4 scoops twice a day" I don't have a lot left!!!
