Anyone used this for dogs? Just seen it and wondered if it was worth a go.

My GSD gets very anxious - tried all the normal routes, conditioning to noise, ignoring etc to no avail.

He has a spaniel companion with him at all times who is totally chilled but unfortunately my boy finds it all very stressful.

He is an outdoor dog - I've tried having him inside during the fireworks period but as this is not his routine it just makes things worse and he claws the door to go out again.

He's 5 now and is just one of lifes sensitive souls bless him.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Honestly I know it sounds mad...but it works!! Have you tried putting a tight t-shirt on your dog? It's based on the T-Touch bandage principle of them feeling secure and held. http://www.heartseasettouch.com/article8wrap.htm

I've never tried the herbs unfortunately my girl used to get so bad I'd have to give her valium. :( Luckily now with moving close to a place where they shoot year round, her age, and the t-shirt trick she's 100% better and while she'll still take herself into the cupboard under the stairs at least I don't have to drug her.

Thanks for the suggestions - I have seen the DAP products but wasn't sure if they actually worked.

He'd have to have a collar, and possibly the spray for his bed - no plugs in his kennel ;)
