For the backstory on why I'm asking see thread here: https://forums.horseandhound.co.uk/...-a-brick-wall-with-my-youngster.778129/page-2

Short story is we have bilateral suspensory damage (PSD to be specific), worse in left hind, mild in right hind. He's already on a in-hand walking exercise programme to keep everything moving and keep his brain happy.

I've have, though, read good reviews about this stuff and I'm just wondering would it be worth putting my boy on it just aid in the healing process?
Like I'm not expecting miracles with it, obviously, but is it worth just seeing if it could do anything for 3 months until his next scan?

I suppose if there's literally no change to the suspensories by then, then we go down the shockwave route anyway

I suppose I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to help him.... just feel a bit useless for him right now!

I wouldnt waste my money.

The ingerdients are:

Holy Basil, MSM, Winter Cherry, Amla, Frankincense, Mango, Guduchi, Makoi, Creat, Gale of the Wind, Boerhaavia Diffusa, Herbal Extracts

I'm not sure there is anything magic in there that will fix a damaged tendon sadly, although there is some mild painkillers/anti inflammatory stuff so I can imagine it does make the odd horse seem a bit better.

Wouldn't bother you would be better off buying pure msm and feeding that at least there is some scientific evidence it can help with tendon issues .

Something I've recently started asking myself when it comes to supplements like these, is 'Is this something that could be healed/improved through time?'.
That's not to say they don't work, but I do wonder how many testimonials as to the effectiveness of these mixes is down not so much to the feeding of said mix, but due to the time that has passed since starting the supplement. Quite a few of them do suggest/recommend longer periods of feeding before seeing improvement, so it makes you think.

Yeah Nasicus that's what I was wondering myself whether people are just assuming that the natural healing that time provides is the supplement instead...

Perhaps I will think about getting him some pure MSM.... if nothing else it'll help any arthritic changes from the broken pedal bone foot!
