Has anyone had good results using Global herbs Scratch?
I had amazing results using the sarc-ex on one pony and so thought the scratch might help another itchy pony. I'm thinking of trying it this autumn as soon as the last shows are over to check seh doesn't react to anything in it before using it next spring but its always nice to hear other peoples experiences of these products!
Many thanks in advance

I've used SuperSkratch and really rate it. When you start your pony on it, start with just a tiny pinch and build it up slowly. It smells really strong and can put some off. I don't think it tastes strong as once they are used to the smell they eat it fine in my experience.

Thanks for your replies I have bought a tub of regular scratch as was told in the shop to use that first then the super scratch. It smells strong but not as curry like as the sarc ex!! Did you find the scratch worked well enough that you could ditch the sweetitch rugs in the end?!

a friend of mine used skratch and had fab results

i like global herbs products, I use fennel for my mare as she is prone to gassy bowels / colic.... shes been fine ever since i put her on it (fingers crossed :)

I also used rig calm last summer and this had good results too

My pony doesn't have sweet itch, he is just obsessed with scratching himself (unless he's on SuperSkratch). I did use it with good effect on a friend's mare who has sweet itch but I wouldn't take her rug off just in case. If she gets bitten it drives her to distraction so not worth the risk.

I usa skratch on my boy, doesn't have sweetitch but rubs and stamps like crazy, can't recommend it enough. My YO uses it on 1 of hers with sweetitch and he is much improved but she still rugs him.

We use Pollen X for our boy who headshakes.. and it has been a genuine 'miracle' cure :)
So would recommend giving them a go at least !
