Hello

This is a question for those of you very familiar with Goodwood.

We are looking to take our daughter who will be 8months at her racing debut, and would really like to hear your tips on how best to enjoy Glorious Goodwood. We haven't been before, but have been racing at smaller meets, Salisbury/Newbury etc, and Ascot a couple of times, minus bebe!
So, what would be the best type of ticket to get, enclosure & car park to go in? Provisionally we were looking at 31 July which I believe is Ladies Day, and price wise we are happy to pay to ensure an enjoyable family day.
Many Thanks

Me and Gloster Image went on Ladies day, Goodwood is fab. Can't remember exactly the name of the enclosures, think we were in the one that is equivalent to Tatts at most other courses, 'Gordon' enclosure don't quote me.

Ladies day is always the thursday, I've always been lucky enough to know people who are members and get into the gordon enclosure and usually got a taxi there as I live locally. The non-members enclosure is the Richmond enclosure I think. Its a great day out, just be careful how much pimms you drink, I always over-do it and end up with a cracking headache by 6pm when we're usually heading into Chichester for dinner afterwards!
