Gloucestershire covers a rather large area.
If you have any real warnings to give, please do so.
I don't think thieves are really likely to read your posts on HHO before they go a-thieving, do you?!

Shilasdair, thank you for your helpful post. I'm sure the people who have asked to be PMed will tell you I'm being helpful, but this is a public forum and telling people where I live, what security measures I have etc seems a tad stupid! If you want me to tell you further, let me know.

Otherwise, shut up and let the rest of us get on with protecting our horses.

xx

flamehead - that's really not very helpful, somewhere in Glos something is happening

Well which bit ?

The posh bit near ciren, the scabby bit near bristol - the middle bit near Gloucester, or the pikey bit near Stroud, or the confused bit closer to Swindon?

CotswoldSJ - that was my point entirely - not the most helpful warning, in fact, not really any use at all.
I did PM Flamehead (as you know I live in Glos) and received no reply so I suspect her imagination is just getting the better of her, bless.

KandM, your PMs are full so wont let me send!

CotswoldSJ - posh bit near Ciren.

Shilasdair, funnily enough I've been with the horses and too busy for HHO today, unlike some, clearly.

I PMd you yesterday...and yet still no reply regarding this terrible 'security threat'.
Could it be that nothing actually happened, in the whole of Glos?

I suspect the original poster is trying to make people aware of this message I received from a friend in the area relating to sexual activity with horses.
Hi there has been a man going around having sexual dealings with horses, they have been spotted in the siston, bridgeyate and bitton area. If you see anyone untowards on your yard please contact the pollice and ask for chris skelton or contact crime stoppers.
It has apparantly been verified and is genuine.

I repeat again to all who are posting cryptic messages, I do wish if you had any security concerns, you could tell us all for a number of reasons;
1. So we know it is genuine (remember the spate of fake theft reports earlier this year?).
2. So we can protect our own animals/property/vehicles, in an appropriate fashion, given the threat.
3. So we can keep an eye open on your behalf if, worst case scenario, your horses are stolen.
All these whispers/rumours don't do anything positive except make people worry.
