Ours and atleast 5 other (private) yards were broken into last night. All buildings had been forced open (locked barns, tackrooms, stables etc) and left that way. All yards were within 1/4 of a mile of each other, several of which also have houses on site.

Oddly nothing appears to have been taken other than a mug, some gloves and a packet of biscuits (all from one yard), yet, but thats not to say they won't be back.

This is in the Cam/Dursley area.

Please be extra alert if you are in the area and don't take chances with leaving anything of value at your yard.

Little more info:

It appears that many more yards in the area were targeted last night covering a stretch from Cam to Uley.

Very little has been taken but theives helped themselves to tea/coffee and listened to the radio, changing the radio station and leaving the radios on. (Note this was only at a few yards, not all!). At a Uley yard a quad bike has apparently also been taken.

It is suspected that they were either after something very specific or, more likely, they have been sussing out what is available to take and therefore which yards to now target for a return visit in the next day or so.
