After this mornings antics my favourite gloves have finally ripped in half :(! No idea where I got them from / what make they were either so can't get myself another pair but they were brilliant so a very sad day!

Can anyone recommend me some durable but flexible riding gloves (so that I can actually feel the reins) - preferably very grippy!

Something between thin & medium thickness, hate thick gloves but I currently have very bad eczema on my hands which is not healing due to madam ripping reins/leadrope/lunge line through them on a daily basis so something that would protect them a bit without being too heavily padded would be great.

Any suggestions? x

I like macwets but they don't last long before they wear where the rein goes on the 3rd finger with me so now I keep them for shows now. Day to day roeckl gloves are must harder wearing.

For me its only SSG 4200 Hybrids. So comfy, and very hard wearing, thin enough to feel the reins fully yet thick enough that the reins dont rub your hands. And i find them grippy too! My pair i got 2 years ago still look like new and are used 6 days a week! Lovely lovely gloves :)

I like Roeckl. But do also have a look at the carrots range of thin gloves. (Ignore the fids range - they do adults too) They are really light and fit brilliantly becuase they are slightly stretchy. And much cheaper. Not too sure how long they would last though as I tend to loose mine!

Ariat are good.
Tread step are good gloves but they didn't last long which I was disappointed with considering the price.
Now have roeckl but not the leather ones- the black with a red stripe across the back. I love them!! :)
