God, I've just done a stupid thing!

Just spent an hour getting pony ready for comp this evening as we have leave the minute daughter gets back from school

So I wash, plait, quarter marker and put on lots of shiny, glossy hoof oil and put her back in the stable - Doh!

Her feet will be covered with Nedzbed now

PMSL - I have to say mine would have had a pee, had a poo and then rolled in them both. You don't fancy just nipping out to check that that's not what's happened do you?

Doh! When I was a kid we spent ages getting my pony ready for a turn out class the next day. Pony was spotless & plaites were perfect until we turned Cloudy out! Next morning Cloudy was having his second bath in two days

My excuse is that I was 9 at the time!

Wow, your a helpful mummy- I'm sure the hooves wont matter, they will be covered in grass or sand soon anyway! Brush the bedding off and all willl be good!

Just wipe them off and reapply the oil...... no worries

I once put a new red sweat rug on my grey pony after bathing him for a show and it stained him pink!...bad times
