I am going away for a week or so in June and again in July - unfortunatly I do not want my horse to be out of work and there is no-one at home to exercise him. So I was wondering should I send him to a yard for a week-few weeks more each time I go away and put him on full livery including riding or try and find someone to take him for that time and work him?
They would have to be experienced because although he is absolutly fine to ride he will need someone to ride him correctly as he has only just been restarted undersaddle.

Will your instructor take him? That's where mine go if I'm away and want to keep them ticking over. I find this works because she has taught me for ages so has shaped how I approach my riding and it isn't too much of a change in style for the horse.

Unfortunatly the only instructors I have are the ones at uni and based in Nottingham, and he will be going home to Yorkshire before I go away so wouldn't be possible unfortunatly

Environmental Biology. Try doing another post asking for schooling liveries in your area you are bound to get some recommendations. Good Luck

I will do thanks, didn't want to jump in and start that thread if people were going to recommend just sending him to one person to ride for a few weeks.
