Thanks to all of you who responded to my previous posting.
I am going back for a second try of Bahrain Cruise Clover at 2 today.

I think a second ride will tell me how much I like him.

As ever I am Anxious Annie and my little cat has sensed this and is doing her best to entertain me dancing running up and down the stairs chirrupping and generally being a nuisance.

My only anxiety is that I like him for the right reasons and I think a second ride will tell me this.
 
i think he could be the one!
as you said you didnt feel unsafe on him - which is a must!
you quite happily hacked, jumped etc!

And - ive never once got on a horse and instantly felt like i could ride it to the best of my ability - so dont be silly!

you can learn to ride him - learn his way of going once you have him home!!
 
Good luck for this afternoon! You wouldn't be going back if you didn't like him. Feeling safe on him can't be a wrong reason to like him!

Looking forward to hearing how you get on.
 
Would you be surprised to know that I didnt sleep last night?

I was even thinking how much of my kit might fit

My check list is :

1) Look at front feet as 1 foot turned in on photo.
2) Ask for Trot up as spent 2 hours on him yesterday without doing that
3) Spend 45 minutes flatting maybe pop a jump
4) If I still like him ask Claire to jump something Big.

Good points added it to my list. I must admit if the 'Dealer' wasnt a friend I would be going back with an Army to view again!! I do feel like I am taking you all with me.

By the way I think I have started box walking I have now done the washing up and been through the linen basket pairing up the odd socks.

Next coffee and weeding then go to my old yard in their lunch break and get some more tips.

I read yesterdays post this morning, and just read this post. I really do hope he is the 'one' for you. You will know if he is wrong, so just trust your instinct I think. Good luck. Let us know how you get on later?
