Going DIY - What do i need?

Thinking of moving to a new yard and going DIY. Trying to work out "start up" costs. I have thought of mucking out tools and feed buckets. Anything else I might need apart from feed, hay and straw?

Also there is no lighting for the school. I can get there by 5 in the evening, how much of the year do you reckon I won't be able to ride in the evenings?

You'll need a barrow, fork, brush & shovel - make sure you label everything! Also, feed bins / buckets, water buckets, haynets.....

I think you'd probably miss riding in the evenings between early November / late Feb.

a kettle!!!!

it depends on how diy the yard is.....the last one I was at, we had to provide electric fencing if we required any splitting of horses!!!...its come in useful now I rent land on my own though!

Lockable storage box for bits and bobs and rugs if you can squeeze them in

Wheelbarrow, fork, brush and buckets.
