great thanks for the reply, im pretty good at staying on although had my first fall 2 weeks ago from jumping in nearly 2 years!

any tips for the running off after the jump. i have a mate whos comming with me whos horse doesnt kick so i could ask her to go infront to jump 1st so i can use her as a saftey incase he tried to run. i dont want to be chucked off for overtaking the feild masters!

If you do overtake the field masters, just apologise. It happens quite often and as long as you dont smash into them or get dangerous they understand that not everyone can stop when needed!!

My horse is usually really good out hunting but last week i jumped a rail behind someone and he flew off at a gallop down a hill after them and i couldnt stop until they did! It was near the end of the day so thought he'd be tired!! Damn horse! There was only a small group of us left by that point so it wasnt such an issue! lol x

Just stick to where he settles best, mine worries he's going to be left behind if he's at the back so i keep him at the front amongst everyone else!! x

Don't worry about things that haven't happened yet, just have fun and if he does pass the Masters apologise. It happened to me once I was mortified- they just laughed!:D
