Sorry more of a vent!

So where i work has lost the contract that i work on so we are pretty much jobless at the end of May, however i seem to be at a dead end! Appling for jobs is driving me insane, My CV is done and applying away (6 jobs a day MIN!) however every job i have applied for is, dun dun dun UNsuccessful!

I have a years experience in Admin among other varieties of jobs, the only gap in my CV is when i was learning to drive, I'm starting to lose motivation! Anyone else having better luck?

On a lighter note, Loverly weather we are having?

Sorry that you haven't been able to get a new job LittleBecky, but don't lose your motivation, have a look at this thread from the Club House Well thats it after 11yrs............, some persons are lucky enough to find new jobs.

So enjoy the good weather and keep on trying, hopefully you will find a new job soon.

Sorry to hear this, I'm currently jobless atm too I've been out of work since Christmas and it's soul destroying trying to get a job just now. I've just been online and applied for 14 jobs so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that soon I'll have a job again as I am currently out of my mind with worry/boredom and feeling pretty sorry for myself that I've recently had to claim job seekers as I'm getting nowhere fast and have no funds.

Im sorry to hear Sandi feel like im moaning now

Im thinking about gettting a Dog grooming trainee job or soemthing like that...

luckily i have a few more weeks but my two ONLY collegaues (yes theres only three of us!) are handing in there notices and going there seperate ways and i will be left, but i dont think they will be able to have me by myself in an office? im not too sure though! and also will they HAVE to make me redunant! Im not a fan of working in Central London is just been a downwards slope

Sandi, have you looked on Gumtree there are a few on there? but they dont seem to be local to me! -fingers crossed for us! -

Rejig your CV, maybe it has got too much info and making you look too experienced, maybe it doesnt have enough of the quality points you have to offer. Bear in mind HR managers get lots and lots of CV and going through them all esp if they are long is a ball ache, so cut it short, too the point, easy to read so it jumps out at the reader. Good luck.
