Im so excited!!!

just wondered if you could tell me is there anything peticular i should wear or 'attach' to my pony?

im going to put in my stronger bit for the day, i usually go without a flash (although i should use one day-to-day anyway) but with the tom thumb im using she opens her mouth and crosses her jaw a bit, would it be a good idea for me to go grab a flash or a grackle???
Im borrowing a martingale (to hold onto!!),
about numnahs, i only have thin ones, do i need a thicker one? again im popping out to saddlery today so can get something, would it be worth me getting a thick numnah or a fluffy pad or something so shes more comfortable?

And anything else i should know?!

Thanks!!

Dont put a mega thick numnah under your saddle as it may make it pinch or slip- Nuumed 1/2 wool numnahs are fab for hunting! Put a green ribbon or wrap green insulator tape around her tail, Introduce yourself to the field secretary and ask them if there is anyone who will look after you- i often "nanny" newbies! Otherwise introduce yourself to other people with a "Hi, Im new!" most people are really friendly and will help you while you learn the ropes. Its worth keeping to the back at first as things tend to be a bit slower which gives you time to react. keep clear of everyone if shes starts to get silly as you dont want a bucking/ rearing fit in the middle of a group! Take a full hipflask, mars bars and a big smile x
