Hi guys, just had a dressage lesson on my mare today and my trainer noticed ( and I felt) she was quite stiff and going sort behind- especially on a circle. Well I got off and trotted her up- shes not actually lame just a little sort and stiff behind. Anyway put her out in the field and she had a good roll and trotted round- dosent seem to be in any pain- so a bit miffed as to what to do. Shall I just give her a few days off or call the vet now??

I have just had a McTimony Chiropractor out this afternoon for my mare who I noticed was slightly stiff behind and had definitely started hollowing whilst schooling.

Poor mare had a misaligned neck and spine and stiff base of neck and stiff though her loins

So pleased I got this lady out and it only cost £40.

Might be worth you getting a back lady out to see if there is a problem.

thanks for the advise- I think I will prob go to the vet, as she had ligament damage in her back over 1 year ago- been sound since and eventing this year. So just worried it might be the same prob again as the symptoms are similer...
