Going to bath the boy today!!!!

It has been many years since I have bathed a horse.

Getting water ready and I have got the wobbles I will be on my own, so any handy hints please.

I will soap him up with a sponge and then rinse with hose, I don't expect he will like it, so good hints very welcome x

I wouldn't leave it to late in the day as it gets cold quite early now.

Get everything together, hose, water brush, shampoo, scraper, towel, conditioning spray, rug.

Thoroughly soak horse, squirt soap on horse and on wet water brush and scrub!

Just got his ' string vest' so will pop that on and walk him a round a bit.

I would just be aware that his coat will be starting to thicken up so he will need a bit more time to dry. Got any old towels??

big haynet and a decent rug will keep him occupied whilst your bathing and whilst hes waiting to dry!

Well, the deed is done, and infact went rather well, so much so that i trusted him to be good for the kids.

So when I was satisfied that he was ok, Daisy and her cousin, soaped him up LOL.

He dried off niucely under his string vest, and just to show his disgust at smeling like a peach, literally

rolled in the grass and gotstuck with all kind of fawner.

But, I guess he must at least feel refreshed after having all the itchy bugs over him this summer
