=[ After our disastrous round at Solihull, and our problems practising Tuesday, we took his temp, which was 37.8 [above his normal low 37ish]. Finally got his rubber matting down in his stable, and bought him in tonight. His breathing is slightly up, mum got 22, 23 and I think 25?
Mum thinks he may be coming out of something, but I think he's coming down with something. Now we have transport back [!
] will pop him over to the vets. Am going to try and get him out SJ before Winkburn, but I have a funny feeling I might be withdrawing
All my plans for his season have been so screwed up because of some idiot in our village [who actually shares the field with us] drove into the back of our lorry, in JANUARY, so even though I've had a 3 month summer I've hardly gone anywhere. Now Tally's not right, and it just seems like I've wasted a summer that should have been productive. Tally was meant to do the JRN at Knaptoft, but lack of transport and a sticky Burghley knocked that off the agenda, but the plan had always been first Novice at Winkburn, to say he'd gone Novice in a season, because he's quite capable. Peter certainly should have been doing much more - certainly on the BSJA front.
I just feel like everything I worked for last summer and winter has been for nothing
Oh, and one last thing, would you put a fleece / rug on T tonight? I'm stabling, but he's used to 24hr turnout, recently in a L/W rug at night.
