Unfortunately the bay warmblood who I posted about last week has been sold.

Yes, I like the look of him generally though, and having spoken to his owner I think we could well be a good match

It sounds as if he has had a busy ridden career after racing so the price tag reflects that. Afterall, ex-racers can make fantastic top level competition horses and fetch considerable money so I certainly don't think 4.5k is steep

He's advertised on Horsequest for £4,000 but there is one higher up the page for £2,500 that I like better -hunting pic & 10 mins from East Midlands airport.
 
I have a current racehorse that would be capable of doing all that this the advertised horse can do and possibly more some - he would jump better.......I have not got him on the market yet......but will have to think about it soon as he is not shaping up as a Denman on the track (despite looking just like him...) And I am reckoning his value is about £2.5K (100% in all the ways one wants a horse to be.......) which is why I think £4.5K is too steep. Would not complain though ifsomeone thought my horse was worth similar.....!!
