A Rottie x pup tomorrow. He is not a Dobe :( but he is a gorg bag and my daughter has persuaded me. The plus is he can be rehomed with kids and he does have my 2nd fav breed clearly in him. I ideally wanted to help an older dog purely because they seem to be forgotten, but it seems older dogs are restricted being rehomed to children. Anyway here he is

Will update tomorrow

The link dosnt work but I presume you mean Romeo who looks gorgeous.

Good luck tomorrow but dont be swayed by your daughter, all puppies are lovely and its important that you pick one that will suit your lifestyle.:)

Yes, im defo going tomorrow with eyes wide open. Puppy/Dog is able to come to work with me and will not likely be left alone to often so i'm prepared for time and effort needed. I have appointments to see a few others this weekend so will not be making a decision before then. I'm in no rush and will make sure we rehome the right one as we will be stuck together for many years to come.

Thank you once again DG you are tons of help.

Oh my, he is gorgeous:) if you think a puppy guide would help im more than happy to send you one.
I also have a "settling in your new rescue guide" but to be fair it's more for adult dogs, puppy are just "puppys" largely unspoilt by folk when so young and little phases them for any length of time:D
I hope it works out, he really is a little dude:)

DeeDee we fed our Lancashire Heeler pup Fish4puppies and then Orijen before swapping over to raw. Both are top end food but they are expensive but she did very well on it

Oh hurrah Im really glad you are going to the Mayhew, they were so helpful when we adopted Monty Dobe - if you see Lisa when you go, tell her Monty Doberman-with-a-tail is still very happy in Scotland (it was rare for them to have tails when we got him, thankfully not rare now!)

Romeo looks great and subject to homecheck I bet they will be delighted for you to have him, they are pretty good at assessing who will cope with a black'n'tan un!!
