In 3 days her ladyship has almost electrocuted herself chewing on the phone power cable (which was accidentally exposed by an inch for 5 minuets!) and chewed a pen which has resulted in her being covered in blue ink. She's doing her best to make me look irresponsible
I'm having a bit of trouble with her about food though. Being a Corgi she's a bit keen
Jack always have been but I've always just waited until he was sat and calm then fed him. I'm doing the same with her, it takes forever as she gets so manic, but she's getting the point. I can put my hands in her bowl and take her food away with no aggression but she gobbles and tries to climb in the bowl. I'm not exactly mobile properly yet so I can't bend down and I'm struggling to spend as long as I need to on the floor to wait for her to calm down.
I'm worried that if I leave it then it will become a problem, which I don't want. Is there anything I can do to help or am I going to have to rope someone else in to do the work? I'm in the process of teaching her to 'wait' which I think will help, it did with Jack anyway.
