Goli Long Reining and Saddle..(PICS)

Did my first ever Solo long reining session with Goli today! Normally we start with my mum leading him then having a circiut at the end on our own but did the whole thing by ourselves today!
Also bought a cheapish saddle i spotted on Ebay which came yesterday. Think it looks ok and should be good for breaking him in with in summer once re-flocked a bit (excuse the posey pictures with Jill from the yard - some may remember her from Camp!)

He is rather huge (just over 17hands on the measureing stick) and is rising 3!

He looks lovely.
Can I suggest that you get a saddler, or if not somebody very experienced, to check your saddle before you start backing him with it. It would be sad if his first ridden experiences were not comfortable because his saddle was not a good fit.
He looks very chilled out, I hope you have lots of fun together.

Yes, our local saddler will be coming to check it before we start riding and re-flocking it as needed etc
