Just had a fantastic lesson from a well known show and dressage judge. Had a couple before, last year, but this was the first this year.
Over the moon as he said my horse has come on in leaps and bounds, that he is very striking to watch, has wonderfull paces and I ride him very well with a lovely position (really happy about that as I have tended to suffer from lower leg problems)
My Boss was watching and over heard him ask what comps I do. When I said I dont I got a row and told I should take him to ridden horse classes as he will do very well. I just smiled and said nothing.
After the lesson I rode back to the yard and I was told I was going showing in eight weeks!!!!!!!
I have never done a show class in my life and I know my horse hasn't either. Slight concern we will be laughed out the ring, or he will lose the plot at cantering around in a big group of strange horses, but hey ho looks like Im doing it!
