il try and get a better pic for you, personality he is the best horse i know, kind, caring has manners to die for and is a gent, lets me do anything with him,i was brushing his fleec rug off the other day with my yard brush as it was hairy and covered in straw !!!! he was still wearing it lol i was only doing it gently but he stood there and didnt care he was going to sleep

Mine has longer legs and is shorter backed?? So maybe TB cross what do you think?? Maybe not so much bone either? Very similar head though?? Also although mine is generally OK in the stable and loves kids, but he is NOT a novice ride and is prone to being very, very spooky!! Otherwise he is really affectionate and loves attention! Would prob let me brush stuff off his rug but would have a heart attack if a plastic bag blew in front of him!!

Weeeellll he is 'supposed' to be 15.1 but he didn't read the cob handbook and is now 16.1!! His previous owner thought he was a Clydesdale cross which seems to tally up as he has the white stockings is actually a bay roan and has white patches on his tummy! He doesn't grow feathers as such so I just trim the backs of his legs and he came hogged so I have kept him like that!!

dont know if these help, this is my mare she is believed to be dales x tb but everyone calls her a cob.dont know whether i should be insulted on her behalf or whether dales are classed as cobs!

Hmmmmm no sorry! ( I am being fussy tonight!! ) yours is slimmer through the body and not as short coupled, mine isn't as feathery either!! My horse is classed as an Irish cob.

Thanks anyway, and wish mine shone like that!! What do you feed her??!! Think Dales are cobs aren't they?? Hopefully someone Dalesey will tell us!! What ever don't be offended, she is beautiful! I never thought I would get a cob and now I have one doubt I would have anything else again!!

Here's my babe. He's a clydesdale(dam) X TB(sire) Looks like yours has the markings of some sort of heavy breed.

Yes!! He is more like yours, although heavier set!! Very similar markings too although we are pretty sure mine is Clydesdale rather than Shire cross! The one of your horse standing on the grass is very similar! Got that "OK when can we get going" look about him!!

I see the difference between the Welsh and Dales crosses and they are a completely different shape to my Irish boy, they look a lot leaner and not so thick set and longer backed. So I think I am starting to get somewhere! Any more pics from anyone else would be great to keep comparing, and I love looking at everyones horses!!!

Also looking at all your lovely pics makes me realise I need to get more and better images of my horse!! Posted this picture before as someone has said he looks like Ryans Son, still trying to get a nice picture of him too!!!

From the photos he looks very like a mare I used to know who was Shire x TB.
However the extra white on the legs may suggest Clydesdale rather than a shire.
