Following on from my previous post http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=461321 after my Rhino rug was murdered, I've been looking for a bargain 6'6 Amigo 1200D but without much sucess. So can anyone recommend something cheap but waterproof. Doesn't matter if it doesn't last more than a summer, as long as it's well waterproof, nylon lined and fits well!

Been perusing eBay and wondered about these two:

Anyone tried one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-LOVESON-ALLPRO-SUMMER-TURNOUT-RUG-FULL-NECK-/300562505368?pt=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&vti=Size%096%276%27%27&hash=item8bb3ba627d (Loveson Allpro Summer turnout)

Or one of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Chillton-1200d-Lightweight-Turnout-Rug-Brown-66-/350407949603?pt=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item5195f0fd23 (Chillton 1200D lightweight turnout)

Many thanks :)

I might be blind, but the first one doesn't mention Nylon lining so it is probably cotton
Other than that I can't help I have a funnel LW which hasn't leaked, but is cotton lined

No, you're not blind! I was just hoping but a bit of research has shown it's got a poly/cotton lining. No good then. Another 'possible' bites the dust

I was pleasently supprised that the 600d Amigo lightweight is fairly tough! My girl has been out in in for a good few months now (lives out) and no nicks or tears. £30 on ebay and if you know amigos suit your boy then might be worth getting one of those.

In hindsite, I expect a cotton lining would be cooler for a summer turnout so not imperative to have one after all. Really just something that'll last a summer and is defo waterproof. :)
