Good and positive start to 2008 - what do you think?

Ok after coming off Pidge yesterday went for a nice hack with sis today and Pidge though keen was pretty well behaved

coming back from the hack we looked in the indoor school and the jumps were still up so in we pootled. Wasn't going to jump after yesterday but sis did a few on Sunny so I thought oh ok let's just do the small double - smaller than yesterday as someone else had been in and altered them, and it went really well

I relaxed and just let Pidge do it at his own pace and didn't interefere, hence no short stride just on take off. What do you think? Please excuse the feet wedged in the stirrups as I was in the dressage saddle again

and couldn't be bothered hiking my stirrups up to jump level.


Then decided on impulse to do the wall (same height as yesterday) and we jumped it once far better than yesterday so I finished on a high

sis didn't catch me jumping it as I didn't say I was doing it, but she took one of me the other side of it!

Thanks again to everyone especially our demonic leader for all the advice yesterday, very much appreciated.
And the positives from today are a very nice hack with lots of controlled canters and some nice jumping to finish with, best bit jumping the wall very nicely with no problems
