found a GFS leather saddle brand new for £375. is this a good price and what are the saddles like etc? think its a training saddle or something?

That is a brilliant price! Normally they're around £600/700.
I have one and find it really comfy and it still looks practically new after 3 years of use.

Just saw your other post, not the saddle I wasthinking of but still that sounds like very good value for a leather saddle so I would definately consider it.

What is a training saddle? Is it one you train in, rather than a super-duper one for showing? Apologies for my ignorance (however, I am sufficiently unignorant to know that is a blooming good price for any brand-new saddle!)

I had a GFS VSD a few years ago and it was the comfiest saddle ever! Was gutted to find it didn't fit my new horse and I had to sell it

That's a very good price...I bought a GFS Event Pro about 5/6 years ago & that cost about £600 then. Daughter found it very comfortable & a pleasure to ride in.
