I know a girl who is interested in keeping her pony at my parents land. They are happy for her to do so as they are good friends of my Mum. However I have had horses at livery for many years and have had some bad experiances of teenagers losing interest, failing to look after their ponies and their parents not picking up the pieces.
I don't think that this will happen in this case but to protect my parents I have suggested that they get a livery agreement. Therefore everyone will know where they stand from the outset and hopefully even if it doesn't work out they wont ruin their friendship.
I have googled livery agreements but they are all complicated legal jargon. I want something in simple plain english. Does anyone have a template for an agreement like that?
