hi guys
i am after recommendations for breathing supplements?
they are can be so expensive i dont really want to do trial and error until i find one that works well!
any ideas gratefully recieved!

No idea what breathing problem you are trying to address but I have used NAFF D Tox to great effect and also Gold Labels Butterbur supplement. The NAFF has very high levels of vitamin C which is usually lacking in compromised lungs and the Gold label butterbur is the same herb used a lot in European human medicine to treat airway allergies and asthma.

Hope that helps.

thanks people
she was imported with a very minor cough, its improved but has the odd cough after work and can sound a little wheezy at times.
the vet thinks its a dust allergy but she has to be stabled to some extent as she stays away alot (comp horse), and the usual dust avoiding tactics doesnt seem to really be helping so we;ve sort of reached a plateau where its not improving.
its not bad by any means but i would prefer it not to be there at all! so i thought maybe a breathing supplement to open airways might be worth a go before i spend another small fortune on the vet!
so i will look into your ideas thank you

I would definitely investigate the Gold Label stuff then. I used it on a horse with a strong allergy to rapeseed and it worked very well.

Stinky gets the occasional cough over winter, this year I have fed him Feedmark's Clarity and I have only heard him once once or twice over the whole winter so for him it has been good.
