I was going to move her on with the recent diagnosis of COPD, but youve all taked me out of it :-) So, Full size too small (last hole if im lucky occasionally) Extra full size too long in the headpiece. tried jeffries (too long), Kieffer (incidentally the quality i thought was pants for the price - the holes split when you put the buckly through!) Stubben was far too small!
Anyone got over this probem with a particular brand....someone mention GFS designed for cob breads?

Hi there, I ended up making my own for my mare - I live near a great saddlers that has a slection of individual bridle pieces in different sizes, may be worth considering?

I've had to make my own bridle up as well from a local saddlers.

Mine has an extra-full noseband (but needs extra holes in the length to make it short enough), xf browband, full size headpiece and cob size cheek pieces.
I can make do with a full size bridle, as long as I use an xf browband so I do that for my spare. You're probably best making one up from various parts though - I'm sure sabre do them if you want a posh bridle

I had this problem too! Albion KB comfort bridle is lovely

x full will fit on nose (does with my big warmblood - full the straps wouldn't even touch over the nose!) BUT make sure you order it with a full size headpiece - not the x full. That way it will not be too long over the head. I didn't know you could do ths until recently so mine is all x full and the browband sits too low as the padded headpiece is too long. I am going to order a new headpiece separately but its about £55 just for the headpiece

we asked our saddler to make one for one of the hunters and it meant that he could take measurements to ensure that it was a good fit, but also getting a full bridle and doing a bit of a mix and match with the cheekpieces worked fine!

we have roman who ironically has a very large roman nose. We bought a cheap bridle in warmblood size from tragos down here...i cant remeber the name but it was actuallty a make
