What has everyone been up to with their horses? I had a lovely hack - first proper hack on my horse who has been out injured soon after I got him. It was amazing

Glad you had a nice hack! I went out hacking too, on Bodey, though the woods, with my friend on her pony. We were chatting the whole way around, we hadn’t been out together since before all the snow. And best of all it didn’t rain.

Went on a lovely hack with my new horsey neighbour - showed me a route i didnt know, and cantered my youngster in company for the first time - he was amazing

Just hiding indoors with a cup of tea at the moment, then going back to yard to get the mud monsters in and will be schooling the other one

I went to watch mum have a lesson on Mollie this am, which went really well, am very pleased for her

I will be riding Mystic this afternoon and doing something with Monty later (not sure what yet).

Went for a lovely hack on my horse for the first time since November. Expected her to be a bit sharp but she was fab. Even mastered stopping at junctions whilst in front, rather than having always put her behind so she has to stop when the other horse does. Very pleased with her, and very cold toes!!

He was SO good bless him! Never cantered him with another horse - expected a bit of a buck maybe, taking off perhaps - but nothing, good as gold even when the bird scarer went off in our faces practically! He continues to amaze me everyday, he was doing changes yesterday and only started cantering in the school in December! Must be the clever TB in him!! Boast over

I spent the morning in my pyjamas watching telly, and the afternoon at the riding school running round in circles trying to get a very lazy old pony to trot!

I hate leading... but so does everyone else I suppose! I didn't get a chance to ride, after the lessons finished all the kids who have their own ponies wanted to ride... I get to ride in the week when they're at school, so I don't begrudge them hogging the arena on the weekends.

I'm so jealous of all of you on your lovely hacks! I reeeally want to hack Scooby but I'm not brave enough to take him out on our own yet and no-one will come with me because it's cold. Wusses!
