Isn't life with horses up and down. I am lucky enough to have own horse now - waited 25 years until children grown up!
3and half years ago I got my cob, jack. Sometimes he has scared me silly (I am a wimp-have been known to cry!)
If it wasn't for patient friends on yard I'd have given up long ago. These days though it is getting better for longer.
Yesterday I had a great jumping lesson. We hired a local venue and used their set of jumps in large arena. I
only jump small (max is 2ft 3 so far) but control between jumps has been issue! yesterday, even though he was
forward going I forgot to be scared I concentrated on 'getting hte line' and
even really put my leg on - it was fantastic. I felt like I was flying!!!! I love my cob!!!!

Sounds like it was worth the wait !
I didn't get my own horse until I was in my twenties ( a long time ago )

We had more downs than ups , but it was still worth it

Horses are so up and down - I have been known to cry too!

But they are so worth it - most of the time (in the summer mainly!)

Love to see you and your cob flying - any pics?
