Do you have days when you want to spend the whole day at the yard, happily riding and finding stuff to do..... and then days when you CBA? I've sitting here in my joddies all morning, done some paperwork, done a couple of washes, etc, but it's now 12.30 and I've still to pick up my tack and go ride my pony... I just don't feel motivated at all. Happy to go and poo-pick but the riding part just feels like too much effort.

I will do it.... after lunch.... I WILL!!! :o
 
Oh yes....

I have days where I can start with the best of intentions to ride and just not get any further than looking in the tack room..

Like you say,more than happy to Potter about poo picking etc but just cannot lift ar$e to saddle. I then regret not riding when the weather is bad
 
Yeah and I have just days where I would rather just take her out for a walk in hand because I cant be bothered to ride. She can be a bit highly strung and sometimes I wish I had a plod so I could just sit and do nothing but just be carried instead.
 
riding is fine i just cba to tack up so quite often i just stick on a bridle and ride bareback... jeeze thats really very lazy of me but seriously its one of the things i loath doing although i could spend forever grooming them :o
 
Yep! Some days i'm up the second it light and out the door to ride all day. other days I cant be a*sed.

Earlier this year I couldn't be bothered, but thought I probably should. Went to all the effort to get ready (very slowly and with a couple of coffees in between) hopped on and was swiftly ejected. Now if I don't feel like it, I tend not to bother! Although now winter is he I only get to ride at the weekend so I tend to be well up for it :P xx
