I had a dressage lesson yest with the lady who runs my new livery yard. It went well, I learned lots of new things and she said myself and my girl are capable enough now that with some fine tuning we should be getting 70% marks at elementary

quite shocked as I always think dressage is our weak link!

Today I went for a wonderful ride on my own in the sunshine over the gorgeous common nr my new yard. It has miles of sandy tracks and breathtaking views, im like a kid with a new toy everytime I go on there

My horse was having a wonderful time 2 and we decided to have a gallop (at old yard hacking was so rubbish we couldnt gallop).
My god she flew (is a TB), I even screamed out a swear word!! Got a little scared when I glanced down and the ground was a blur!!! We went hell for leather up a steep hill, unbeknown to me hill dropped sharply down the otherside

I thought i was about to be launched off the edge of the world!!! Luckily for me my horse is much smarter than I am, she ground to halt and then calmly jogged down the other side with me clinging on like a limpet wearing the biggest smile in the world.
Rode back home feeling like the luckiest person alive. Horse even walked past 2 JCB's digging right next to her without batting an eyelid. (saw sexy tanned men with no shirts on 2!)

Yes a good couple of days

Glad everything is going well and you are really enjoying your horse at the moment.
I feel the same at the moment, my horse became very skin sensative last summer and this carried on until she had her full winter coat, but that didn't last long as she started to loose it again just as soon as she had got it. i started using Global herbs Skratch about 5 weeks ago and i have just worked out the right balance for her and i have my "normal" horse back, and i am really enjoying myself again.
And doesn't it feel good, you just want to shout it from the roof tops lol.
