I have got my horse on rubber matting for the first time this winter: it is just fantastic but my good old Jeyes fluid does not seem to be doing a great job of killing the pee whiffs! Can anyone recommend a good odour killer that works well with rubber matting?

I use Sirocco which is a powder you can sprinkle on everyday and Biotal's Biofresh which is a liquid you dilute with water and spray all over. I would say that the Biofresh is the better bargain for the money (one bottle lasts me for a whole winter (they live out in the summer) for four stables).

Crikey, it says something on the tin about it being an irritant or burning skin... not sure I would take the risk for a horses skin

Green Gloop or Stablefresh....... or something called Reosan (smells of bubblgum).

In the winter I use the Jeyes Bin Powder, in the summer I use a supermarket's own disinfectant in gallon container. Neither has caused any problem to my horse.
