my new horse is far more advanced than me so when i rode him last night the slightest shift in weight etc made a difference so i thought id better look at some books as he has worked at high ish level. Can anyone reccomend a good book that will show/explain/help.

Its amazing sitting on something with so much power i the engine!! and did some pretty fab lateral work but i want to b sure we do everything as it should be

(you only do so much in a 1 hr lesson)

Theres a great dvd - Balance & Bodywork for the Horse & Rider by Sylvia Loch which is really quite good. It's all about the aids and 'feel'.

For books i enjoyed the Down to Earth Dressage by Carl Hester and Dressage wth Kyra.

I agree with PrincessDana, Sylvia Loch is a great place to start with weight aids - look at her website, she has many books and DVD's on classical riding.
