Can anyone recomend a good dressage trainer in sussex/surrey area. I have had my boy three years and although he can do some really nice dressage he can be really argumentative with accepting the contact. I have regular lessons and we have tried all sorts of bits / nosebands etc. His back, teeth, saddle etc have been checked. I am getting very frustrated now as when he is not in a niggly mood he is amazing but I just can't get the consistency. He is always placed but we can't go forward until he accepts the contact without me having to nag him constantly. Its really tiring as well as he is a big horse that is lazy using his back end.

Debby Lush. Her details are listed on the British Dressage website.
She is fabulous and based down your way. I know she teaches in Ashtead/Headly quiet regularly. You can also go to her yard if you fancy a change of scenery.
