so be open minded as shes a project for me and a very sweet girly... :D

id honestly take her now, as im not init to winit! i just want her to have lots of experience but dont want to make a complete a55 of myself. hence next year as i think i will get laughed at now!! :/

so could she show??

if so, what as - riding horse? (i would want to do in-hand for the first show).... shes bought for low level dressage not showing - so i wont be offended if she isnt good enough :D

thanks :)

I personally wouldn't wait if your not to bothered about winning ( not that you wouldn't win!!) If you take her out this season a couple of times you will be raring to go next year! As for classes, perhaps stick to the fun ones to take pressure off maybe, and it will depend on the show.
I bought a welsh A from melton sales a few years ago for £90. We took him to a good show just for experience. We were lined up for the judge to have a look and the lady next to me said she had bought her welshie from a main breeder for and massive amount (in my view) so I thought o well never mind!! And we got pulled in first out of a class of about 15!! Good luck with her she looks a lovely type!

oh ok! thanks :) theres only ukshowing left this year near me lol. but i was thinking of just taking her and seeing how she reacts - id rather shes a totall noob in that whereas when shes doing dressage (With me on her!), id like her to behave!

she would do well if it was entirely based on movement as she has the most fabulous trot.

im honestly not bothere about winning, i just like to go out/take part etc... :) so yeah i mayy give it ago... will keep looking if i can find anything except ukshowing :D :o :P lol!

My advice would be just give it a go, you never know!! It will give you both confidence!! And don't worry too much about the judges comments. Take them on board of course but she is your little girl and you know her day to day, they don't. If the show is close you could always just go for a nosey!! Don't enter anything, have a walk (in hand/ridden) round show ground/carpark, have a bit of lunch and home, but personally I'd just do a class!!
