Ah ok probably too far, mine covers Glos really but comes to me and now a few others in my area but we are about his limit.

My farrier is from Wantage but he is not taking new clients! Ben Benson is based at Swalecliffe and having used him for one horse he is very expensive and he will send an apprentice. There is no shortage of farriers in that neck of the woods as Lambourn is not far away!!

As @Velcrobum says there are heaps of farriers around Wantage. If you hang out at West Berks golf club you’ll probably see at least half a dozen at any time

My horses are barefoot but I do see many farriers at our yard. The only one I’d use, based on chats and having seen the hooves of the horses shod, is Stuart King.
