I think this is the right place to post this, if not i apologise.
I need some new gloves and i can't find any decent ones and i need suggestions, i had some really warm ones but they weren't waterproof, and i had some others but they have no grip which is an issue when my youngster decides to spook and i can't hold on!

Thanks everyone

I put up a similar thread about a month ago, if you try searching winter glove recomendations it might come up.

I've just bought some woof wear waterproof gloves that seem really good, warm but not too bulky so can still ride etc in them.

I've had Ariats, they were OK but not that grippy, very warm though. I currently have Mark Todds that I think are great, warm and grippy. I haven't given them a full dunking in a water bucket but for riding they've been fine in rain.

I have roeckl ones for best (love them so much but want to keep them nice) and some mountain horse ones for everyday - the ones that are crocheted on top - they are lovely but not worn them in the depths of winter yet so can't comment on that... doubt they'd be overly warm.

In winter i wear a pair of cheap magic gloves with some track gloves over the top - so warm and grippy! and cheap too!

For layering, I love fingerless gloves - means you still have the grippiness in the fingers but extra heat in the hands!!

I have the Mark Todd leather thinsulate ones, obviously they can't be dunked so I also have a box of size large latex gloves which fit over the top, and... Voila!! Waterproof :)
