Good hay/haylage prices in Colchester area?

I'm new to the Colchester area and am looking for somewhere locally to buy hay/haylage for the winter. Can anyone advise me on good sellers?

Richard at Essex hay and straw has hay, haylage and bedding and delivers. Not sure what his prices are this year but worth giving them a call. 01255 861996. He's not far from wix EC so about 20min from Colchester.

I think with hay/haylage in such short supply over recent years that people are loathe to recommend their supplier just in case the supply runs short.

Are you on a yard? I have always found word of mouth recommendations the best. Good luck!

we here in someset have tons of hay and haylage around this year - my supplier has 3 x the crop of last year so dont be conned into paying too much !!
